Counseling service is extended for all jewelers, their families and employees to receive complimentary assistance

NEENAH, Wis. (January 11, 2023) – Jewelers Mutual® Group, the insurance and business solutions provider dedicated to the jewelry industry since 1913, recently announced its plans to extend the industrywide offer of the “Relieve” counseling service through March 31, 2024. Last November, the company expanded the benefit beyond its commercially insured customers to assist the entire jewelry industry across five countries through the end of 2023. With jewelers continuing to express interest, the extension allows more time for them, their staff and families to take advantage of the professional telephone counseling services at no charge.
“The industry has faced significant challenges in 2023 and many jewelers have put their personal needs on hold to serve their customers, especially during the holiday season. It is our hope that in these first few months of the new year, they can focus on health and wellbeing,” said Scott Murphy, President and Chief Executive Officer at Jewelers Mutual.
Jewelers Mutual offers the Relieve benefit, through TELUS® Health, which provides counseling services with qualified professional counselors free of charge for jewelers, their direct families and employees who may need support, guidance and healing. The special offer extends industrywide, with telephone counseling in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
“In times of crisis or trauma, we understand that the impact may not be felt for days, weeks or months after the incident," said Murphy. “It’s important for us to take care of our industry when help is needed most. We are stronger together.”
Key features of the Relieve counseling service:
- 24/7 assistance
- Confidential counseling sessions
- Access to qualified and experienced professional counselors
