The certification exams measure the proficiency of jewelry professionals against the highest industry standards. JA Certified Professionals can better communicate their professionalism to consumers seeking trustworthy jewelers.

To get certified as a JA Certified Sales or Management Professional you simply take and pass a written test. The questions cover facts, processes, terms and concepts that jewelry professionals encounter daily. The exam can be taken at your convenience using a proctor, or at various regional jewelry events and trade shows.
The Bench Professional Certification program offers four levels of certification to reflect a bench jeweler’s experience. Customers have greater confidence in the ability of a JA Certified Bench Jeweler to provide quality jewelry repairs and custom work.
